Yes. When the camera detects a bird or another animal nearby, it starts recording and sends a notification to your phone. Recordings can be saved to the included TF card or stored in the cloud with a subscription.
Does it support AI bird identification?
Yes. AI bird identification and cloud storage are included in the same subscription service. The AI feature helps identify birds that visit the feeder. The subscription costs $3.99 per month.
Does my phone need to stay connected to the same Wi-Fi network?
No. Wi-Fi is required for the initial device setup. Once connected, you can remotely view the camera feed using mobile data or another Wi-Fi network.
What is the maximum supported storage capacity?
The device supports a TF card with a maximum capacity of 128GB. A 128GB TF card is included, so you do not need to purchase one separately.
Where should the bird feeder be installed?
Choose a spot with a stable Wi-Fi signal, regular bird activity and enough sunlight for the solar panel. Make sure the position also gives you easy access for refilling, removing the device and routine cleaning.
